As a member of the international Kverneland Group, Kverneland AS offers hightech solutions for the agricultural machine construction. They put an emphasis on a userfriendly handling of the plows and tillage tools. Task

Kverneland aimed for an app-based process optimization according to the following requirements:

  • Automated data import from SAP
  • App-based downtime recording at the production lines
  • Option to record deviation from quality and time 
  • Monitoring of production by means of a cockpit (web application)
  • Visualization of downtimes per production station

  • Two-day on site specification workshop 
  • Common definition of requirements
  • Transformation of requirements into available technology
  • Division of the project into several iteration steps
Result

Result

  • Development of an Android app for tablets, usable at the production
  • Homepage that gives an overview of the current production perfomance and that monitors the production lines 
  • Focus: easy handling and clarity, with an option to recognize deviations early and to potentially initiate countermeasures
